Saving the city was never the plan. Surviving each other was.

When a by-the-book LAPD detective who treats every case like a military operation gets paired with a reckless, fast-talking officer who treats every case like open mic night, the department expects disaster and gets exactly that. But when a ridiculous minor incident spirals into a citywide mess involving stolen cash, confused criminals, bad press, and one humiliating piece of evidence that refuses to go away, the two most mismatched cops in Los Angeles are forced to work together before they both lose their badges, their dignity, or both.

As the case grows bigger, dumber, and way more personal than either of them expected, the pair crash through stakeouts, family drama, department politics, and one terrible decision after another, somehow getting closer to the truth while making almost everything else worse. Against impossible odds, questionable judgment, and the absolute wishes of their captain, they may just stumble into becoming the heroes LA never asked for.
